Mt. Hood on Tuesday Morning

It is mornings like this that I am very thankful for where I live.
After dropping No. 3 off this morning, I stopped at the View Point which is across the street.
I think it is one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen.

If you look closely at the last picture, you can see the river at the bottom. It was so quiet this morning, that I could hear the river very clearly. It was a Simply Awesome way to start my day.
I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Goodness what a beautiful morning. Your photos are wonderful. I felt the same way last week here on the Oregon Coast. I posted about it too. We are so fortunate to live in Oregon. Have a great day.

My Great Grandparents lived in Hood River and I remember so many times the wonderful views of Mt. Hood. You are very blessed to live where you do.

I live in California, but feel like I've "come home" when I visit Oregon (I was born there in Hood River). Maybe one day we will be able to live there again.

I have a cousin who has worked for years at Mt. Hood. I haven't seen her in a long time, but I think of her everytime I see that mountain. Your pictures are beautiful.

Love it! My dream is to come to Oregon and visit Mt Hood, the beach, and Sister's Quilt Show. Your pics are great, I miss the mountains. I'm now on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. I used to live in Eagle Creek and on clear mornings my drive to work in Estacada gave me views of beautiful Mt. Hood...what a way to start the day! How I miss it. But at least there are incredible photos like yours to swoon over.

You are indeed very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. How awsome to be able to look at such a beautiful view. And I'm sure the pictures didn't even do it justice.

Now I'm totally HOMESICK...I used to look at Mt. Hood out my sewing room window, Mt. St. Helens from my kitchen window & Mt. Rainier (on a very clear day from my living room windows). OHHHHHH....I'm really homesick, thanks for the lovely pictures, the northwest has unmatched natural beauty!!

My husband and I were just talking about Jonsrud view point the other day. We would walk there while we were dating.

I haven't been there in over 10 years. Beautiful view.

Oh, Jodi, what an exquisite view. I visited Cannon Beach a few years ago and flying into Portland, it seemed as if I could almost touch Mt. Hood from the plane window. You live in probably THE most beautiful state I've ever seen!
