Snowmen in a Jar

I've seen lots of cute ideas for Snowmen kits in Jars, Cans and Bags. I think they're absolutely adorable. In a recent issue of Somerset I saw a simply awesome take on the idea. Cute little apothecary type jars, filled with Epsom salts, twigs, beads and toothpicks. Way cute! It got me to thinking.

I gathered up a few supplies: My favorite Mini Dehydrated Marshmallows, Chocolate Candy Melts, Orange Candy Slices, and Sprinkles {from Halloween}.
I melted the Chocolate Candy Melts in a ziplock bag. Cut the tip and piped little twig arms onto wax paper. I cut little slices of the orange candy and rolled the little slices in some granulated sugar. {so they aren't sticky}.I found some really cute little jars at Cost Plus World Market, added a few black sprinkles for the eyes and buttons, and tied em with some cute Christmasy ribbon. A Snowman Kit in a Jar. AND, Everything can be put right into a mug of Hot Cocoa! All they need is a cute tag and viola! Fun little gifts for kids or grown ups.
