Birthday Cupcakes

Started with these.. Two Nilla Wafers in the bottom, a 1/4 cup of Cake Batter, Baked @ 350 for 18 minutes...

A little circle of Cupcake taken from the center and filled with Raspberry Filling...

Frosted with Buttercream Frosting with a hint of Almond Extract ...mmm. mmm. mmm. good. And off to Lizzy's Birthday Dinner they went.

Morning Jodi. This look so good. I'm going to have to try this. And they're so pretty.

It's so funny that you posted Lizzy's name. I just won a set of pillows called Lizzie and blogged about them saying that was my Grandma's name. You don't hear that to often and I love it.

Gorgeous and very yummy looking! It's funny, I had not had a Nilla wafer for probably 20 years and then DD brought a box home the other day. DH ate half of them so had to replace the box and I tried a few. They are good!

Oh Yum! there you go making some yummy cupcakes again. Did I miss the butter cream frosting recipe?? I have been wanting to make the turtle ones, but was waiting to see if you posted the butter cream frosting recipe.
