another 2010 Project crossed off the list!

This has been in the works for a couple months now. Probably the fastest and easiest quilt to piece and it's taken me forever!
My intentions were to complete a Baby Quilt. I did. It turned out so cute. The white background with orange and yellow checked flowers is vintage.
I had so much fabric left over, I decided to make a twin size too! The top is complete. I need to get a backing. Thinking yellow check or polka dots. And I think I'll have this one quilted for me. I'd like to have a fun flower pattern.
Another finish checked off the "un-started" list. ;o)

They're so happy and spring-y Jodi! The vintage fabric looks like something I wore when I was a kid LOL! Very, very cute!

I love this quilt. It's so cheerful! Some day I would love to try a quilt again. I made a few small baby quilts with a ruffled edge that turned out nice but I am someday going to need help leaning how to do a flat edge. Do you "mitre" the edges? Anyway that is still a few years down on the list. I hope we are all still blogging then. I am going to have questions!
