Bloggers Quilt Festival

I almost forgot about Bloggers Quilt Festival! I LOVE Bloggers Quilt Festival! And I am completely overwhelmed by the all the quilts shared this spring! Crazy!!!! But very cool!
Dresden Plate Quilt by you.
I've chosen to share my Dresden Plate quilt that I made last year around this time.
It's one of my most favorite quilts. It hangs on the back of a chair in our bedroom and I use it often for my naps. It's comfy soft and the perfect weight. And the colors make me happy.

Dresden Plate Quilt by you.
It was one of the first big quilts I free motion quilted. It's a bit crazy. But I was so pleased with myself at the time and it's fun to see how far I've come with my free motion-ing. LOL

Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to see your quilts!

I love it!!
I have to share mine later this week. I just pulled it out of the dryer this afternoon and took my first nap under it :).

However, mine was easy peasy (even if it took me almost a year to finish). I'm blown away by the effort you put into EACH one of those blocks ... and the colors are so serene.

Hope you're having a good week :).

I love everything about this quilt! The fabric colors, the pattern and all that wonderful quilting!

I am just starting to learn free motion quilting myself. Still love hand quilting, but arthritis is telling me to learn machine...

Thanks for sharing!

What a lovely quilt. It's a wonderful example of a traditional pattern, but modernized by your cute fabrics for the plates. Of course it looks extra cozy now that it has it's crinkles!
