I collect Sprinklers and Water Nozzles. I LOVE them. There is just something about them. When I think of summer, I think of sprinklers. Kids running through them. Grass staying green because of them.

I am the Sprinkler system for our yard. ;o) It's all the more fun when I have an old wooden box full of sprinkler's and nozzles to choose from.

This morning I used the green one. It's probably my favorite.

I have many a memory of running through the sprinklers when I was a little girl! Your picture brought some back. :o)
Have a great day!

Running through the sprinkler on a hot summer day was the BEST! :)

Me, too! I collect sprinklers. My favorite is one that runs along the hose, watering as it goes. My husband found it at a garage sale.

P.S. I still run through sprinklers...or should I say walk.

I've not known of a woman who collects sprinklers before. How fun!

Memories of setting up the sprinklers for my kids to run through. Moving them to a new location. But I am sorry to say that sprinklers fear me! Somehow they throw themselves under my tires and then oops! These days my home has underground sprinklers...good for them but miss those days.

Your sprinklers made me smile and I quickly thought of all the stuff I collect, realizing none of it does anything but your collection is actually productive! I hope you get a chance to run through the sprinklers - as one of your other comments said, Oh to be a kid again! xo, Nan

:) sprinklers????
okay, so my dad was born in 1907, and his BROTHER, was born in 1905, and invented the rainbird sprinkler while working as a professor at utah ag.. that's why i'm so wealthy.
oh, wait, i'm not.
the university got all the money since he was under contract with them.
it was used for irrigation before it was a household item.
