Blue and Green Baby Quilt

Yesterday I got to help my cousin put together a baby quilt. It is so cute!

She bought this adorable fabric from JoAnn's. It's little flannel and chenille patchwork squares already sewn together for you. Very clever and very fun!

We chose not to quilt through the chenille squares and love the result. They're a little extra puffy and oh so soft!

We used a Moda Bella Solid for the binding. Super soft and just the right blue.

It was fun to spend the day with my cousin and her daughter. I use to babysit said cousin. I feel old! But I also feel like I have another sister! And it's much fun!

How cute is that! The colors are adorable and don't you love chenille. I have great memories of old dressing gowns and bedspreads made from that!

This is so cute! It makes me want to scoop a baby up in it and snuggle on the sofa! (But all my babies are too big for that now. Sniff.)

What a sweet quilt! I made two just like it for my granddaughters using soft peaches and put some Minkee squares in with the chenille.
Your recipient will love it!

It's a lovely quilt, but the real joy from the quilt seems to come from the fact you and your cousin did it together. Wonderful!
