another Baby Quilt finished

I interrupt the Sew Scraps Along event to bring you my latest Baby Quilt finish!

I've had a few baby quilts on the To Do list lately. Everyone at hubby's work seems to be having babies. The request this time was something woodsy/outdoorsy in greens and browns.

Could this fabric be any more perfect?!

When the owner of Karamat Fabric contacted me and asked about sponsoring SEW PICTURE PERFECT. I was thrilled. And DOUBLY thrilled to find this fabric in her Etsy Shop! It was perfect for the request. It's called "Into the Woods" by Sharyn Sowell for Clothworks. A great fabric for a baby boy or a big boy. {hubby said a man size of this one would be nice} LOL.

I used up every inch of fabric I got and pieced the back. Another project crossed off the list.

So that's 3 down and 2 more to go.

Tomorrow we'll officially start the Sew Scraps Along! Can't wait!

Oh this is just beautiful. I love it. I would love to join in on your scrappy fun but I don't need to commit but just know that when I can I will be playing along. Sounds like so much fun.

Love it! I will not be showing to my hubby! It's been a long time since I built him a quilt and I know this fabric would make him want one...NOW.
Looking forward to scrappin'! Toni

Oh I LOVE this! And, I am so happy, well relieved honestly, to see a baby boy quilt in non-traditional baby boy colors. I am working on a quilt for a friend who's having a boy next month and I chose a rich color scheme and when my husband looked at it, I could tell by the look on his face that he was thinking, "This is for a baby?" But, I was thinking that it would be something that would work until that baby boy has grown up to be a young man. So, thanks for sharing this one! It's wonderful!

I love it! I love the green and brown together! Tomorrow, my friend and I are using your tutorial to start our own table runners like the candy cane one you made. We have never quilted like this before so it should be interesting! Thanks for posting tutorials:)
