So I put pencil to paper and came up with this cutie pie Mug Rug, just for Santa!
And since we're on the subject of cookies, I couldn't think of a better time to introduce you to my newest pattern.
It's just the right size and has a super cute little embroidered pocket for a letter to Santa, or you could even pop a cookie or two in the pocket for the jolly old fellow.
The pattern includes step by step instructions with photos {just like the tutorials I've published on my blog}. It's super fun to sew and would make a great gift too.

This is adorable! My husband and I are debating how much we want to get into Santa with our kids (they're little enough not to know/understand what Santa's about). If we choose to be a Santa family, I think I'll have to definitely make something like this!

I was at Michael's today picking up the Wilton decorating supplies caddy and a friend asked me to pick up a skein of yarn for her too... Standing in the yarn isle looking at all the beautiful colors and fluffy yarns I began to feel the itch to crochet! I cannot knit to save my life, but I love to crochet. I may have to go back for some yarn...
