So... insert Target Napkins $4 for 2 in a pack.
A bit of ribbon and my old sofa pillows, and Wah Lah!
Oh so easy and Oh so fun! I ran two sides through the sewing machine...
Then cut 4 lengths of ribbon at 25" and then in half, and attached the ribbon to the open ends of the napkin sleeve...
Slide the pillow in and tie the ribbon in a bow. Easy peasy!
And don't they look fabulous on the bench hubby made! I finally finished it this past week. It's the perfect vintagey green with a bit of distressing. It looks like it's been sitting there forever.
P.S. the After Christmas SALES will be a great time to grab some napkins! And remember to think outside the box. Red and White Polka or Check would work for Valentines Day. Green would work for St. Pats, Blue and Snowflakes would work for January. Have fun!

Thanks for the quick idea and so cute too! The bench is wonderful and does look like its a hand-me-down. I have a green chair from my grandfather that would match it perfectly...a little more wear tho.

those pillows are outstanding. I got 2 placemats at Target, opened a seam a bit. Then I filled them with stuffing and restitched.. Voila 2 neat pillows. Love quick and easy projects that have a lot of bang for the buck.

Great idea! I recently did something similar using some unusually gorgeous bandanas I found at the dollar store. I love the ribbons on your pillows!
I made the same pillows this summer from Target napkins. I sewed them all around and put velco on the one side......
