How could I not read it? Lori recommended it AND it has Cherries on the cover! Not to mention I've had some SWAG Bucks lying around in my Amazon account. I related to this book in so many ways. You all know I'm a family history fanatic. This is full of wonderfully awesome family stories. You all know I love me some time in the kitchen. It's got that too.
I giggled to myself when I read the part about cutting fabric softner sheets in half to save money. I've been doing that for years. Instead of a box of 60 sheets, I get 120! I may have even learned that from my own mom.
I think many of you will be able to relate to so much in this book. I simply recommend it. Thanks my Blogging buddy Lori! You were right. Cherries in Winter was truly a great read.

What a perfect book for you! I'll see if the library has it.
I downloaded that book on my kindle last night. I think I read Lori's review and put it on my list. I'll be starting it this week.
