The Tollgate Inn

If you were to come visit me. I would take you here. If you were to visit Ms. Mt. Hood... You would drive right by it. But don't drive by it. Stop. They make the BEST Blackberry and Raspberry Scones!

Just down the street we have an old fashioned restaurant, bakery and mercantile,
called Tollgate.
I drove by yesterday morning and saw they were havin a sale.
You wanna go ?
Oh you talked me into it! LOL. They have lots of fun vintagy stuff. Some of it's real, and some of it's fake.
(er uh, I mean reproduction). And cowboy stuff. oooh. Look at those! Cherries! Those are new. They weren't there, last time I was in!
I just might have to get me somethin, while we're here today.
I love the Star Bakery tin sign. I'm waiting for it to go on sale.
I was very tempted to put this pitcher in my arms and take it home. What flavor would you like ?They have a huge selection of nostalgic candy. It's a trip down memory lane,
totally makes me think of my childhood Halloween's. And Nostalgic soda's too. So tempting! The bakery cases are to die for. So tempting.

Did I say this was tempting?
What's a girl to do ? LOL. Lunch anyone ?So much for the diet!O.K. I better go, before I get myself into more trouble!
I hope you enjoyed our little shopping trip.
Tollgate is one of my favorite places to "visit".

What a cute place! With baked goods like that I'd have diet amnesia too!

That's my kind of place. I was sold as soon as I saw all that chicken wire and flags!

Can't tell you how many times we've driven past this wonderful place over the years and I've always wanted to stop. Seems we're either on our way somewhere with a deadline - or trying to get home before. . . No excuse - next time I'll stop if I have to jump out of the car!

I love stores like the one you visited. They are so much fun. The bakery looked "out of this world" good. I gained 5 pounds just looking at the pictures. It is a wonderful, fun, cheerful store.

Have a super great day.

Oh jodi!! thank you for this post. I must find out how far away Mt Hood is from Abbotsford British Columbia. I was so excited to see the cherry dishes in the hutch as I first saw a picture of them on "Sugar Pie Farmhouse" site and fell instantly in love. I have never seen anything so cute in my life. What a nice cheery pattern for everyday dishes!!

As always, your posts are lovely and so fun! thanks again!!
