This is a post from February 2011 - These are so delicious ! My friend Kate made them for a little luncheon we had at her house. The recipe is totally worth another share!
Happy Monday everyone! And Happy February!
1 package (8 squares) Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1 package (8 oz. ) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Softened
Melt 8 Chocolate Squares according to package directions
Beat Cream Cheese until creamy.
Blend Cream Cheese with Chocolate
Refrigerate until firm. (doesn't take very long)
Shape into balls (or use a small cookie scoop like Kate did)
Melt Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Drizzle / Spoon melted chocolate chips onto top of truffles
Decorate with Sprinkles, nuts, etc.
Add 1 -2 Tsp. of your favorite extract to chocolate mixture before shaping into balls.
