When you read this, I will be relaxing in the summer sun at the Oregon Coast....

I've put two new books in my new bag.... I'll let you know how I like them...

I had hoped to get my pajama bottoms done to wear at the beach.... maybe next time... {I'm making them from vintage sheets}

I won't be gone long... And when I get back I have some projects that I'm hoping to finish.
Here's a few sneaky peaky's for ya...

The Orgeon Coast is so magnificiently Beautiful....You must explore the tide pools around Haystack Rock at low tide, our kids did every summer, such fond memories!! Don't forget to visit the Haystack Bakery also, and have some clam chowder at Doogers, its the BEST!

It looks like the makings of a perfect vacation! Is that Lori Holts Cake Walk you are working on? LOVE that pattern and I can't wait to see the whole thing:>) Have fun!
Hope it is nice on the coast. When I visit my dad in Springfield we always go to the coast and freeze. It is beautiful though. I grew up in Washington State and we always went clam digging and had crab fests with all the relatives. Nothing better than sand in between your toes.
Have a lovely vacation! Your quilt flowers are beautiful - went back to read about your project - what a fantastic project! I have a few that my mother made - so precious!

Uber envy! I was out in Oregon the first of the month, before I came back home to Texas weher it has been 100+ for 28 days.... night lows are higher than Oregons highs... has not been below 80 in over 2 weeks... If it was not for the 30 hour drive I would drive back out..... (sorry, I little whine on the heat).... have fun!
I was wondering about your grandmas flower garden project the other day! Glad to see you are working on it
Have a wonderful time! I can't wait to see your Cake Quilt, I have the same pattern from the adorable Lori Holt. I have it on my "To DO list". I wish I could say it was waiting to be quilted. I'm working on Christmas quilts right now.
Have a great weekend...Enjoy!
