Summer Bow Tie Quilt Along

I've been a bit busy round here this summer so far. Partly because we haven't really gotten summer yet. As I type this it's about 55 degrees and raining. blah.

This means I'm not out in my garden, at the river or the lake, or takin a drive around the back roads in the country...

last years garden

Instead I've been spending lots of time in my studio. And I am really glad that I decided to participate in a couple of the Quilt-a-Longs going on right now.

Remember I told you I was going to join Karen in the Summer Bow Tie Quilt-a-Long.

Well looky at my progress!

Just popped back to ask - how big are you blocks? I've looked at the lovely pictures long enough now to realise that I've got fabric sitting on the shelf that would make some nice bow ties!

Your quilts are beautiful! And I will gladly trade you weather. It has been in the upper 90's hit 100 yesterday and above 60% humidity for 2 weeks now with no rain. I can't even take the kids out to play it is so hot.

What fabric are you using for your white? I have the hardest time finding good white fabrics. Most of the stuff I find is so thin and see through :(
