Funky Pinwheel Templates are BACK !!!

It has been a looonnnggg time... You have waited patiently... {well some of you have} LOL... Yes... They are back... Read on....

I needed something for the buffet in my dining room.

A in-between Summer and Thanksgiving runner. A little Fall-ish but not too much. More Back to School/Harvesty like.

When I saw this fabric. I knew it was perfectly perfect for what I wanted to do.
Riley Blakes Farm Fresh Fabric

So I bought and I made... And it looks simply awesome if I do say so myself...

It's my in between summer and fall Table Runner... Made using the Funky Pinwheel Template Set!

It's made with mostly fabrics from Riley Blake's "Farm Fresh" line... Kona's Natural Cotton, and some Red Ric Rac...

I did something a little different this time too... Did ya notice? I made the center pinwheel in a solid instead of the print like I usually do...

See... I usually sew the Pinwheel like this...
Prairie Points

This is my Halloween Funky Pinwheel Runner...
Whirlygig Table Runner

But I decided to change things up a bit and try it in reverse.... I really like it.

I quilted straight lines through the center of the runner, and the binding is the red gingham in the "Farm Fresh" line. I love these fabrics. I also found a few others from other designers/lines to go with. Like the yellow and brown plaid... LOVED pulling these fabrics together.

The best part? The TEMPLATES are BACK!

Funky Pinwheel Template Set

They have a little bit of a new look and new Instructions for making a Funky Pinwheel block, and they're all together in a cute little package.

Funky Pinwheel Templates and Instructions

AND they come with a FREE set of simple instructions for the "Farm Fresh" Runner!
Funky Pinwheel Set Templates and Pattern
Bonus? I bought enough fabric to make a few kits to put in my Etsy Shop for the "Farm Fresh" Runner.
There are ONLY 3 kits available. So hurry if you want one.

Couple Things.... If you didn't know;

* The Templates are made to work with 5" Charm Squares and No Waste!

* The Templates are acrylic and hand cut by me. So they're not perfectly perfect, but they work and I've not had anyone complain.

* The only thing I'm ever asked about making the Funky Pinwheel blocks -

"How do you keep the pieces in order and come out with a perfect Pinwheel every time, without going crazy?"

I have the PERFECT solution for you that I'll share in tomorrow's post!

P.S. Other Templates will be coming soon!

P.P.S If you already own a Funky Pinwheel Template Set and would like to purchase the Instructions only. Instructions Only are available in the Shop too.

{Special Thanks to Michelle for allowing me to use her tutorial as a spring board in making and selling these templates}

I was also wondering where you got your buffet/sideboard. I really need some storage space in my dining room and love the look of this one!
