Which led me to this Recipe - BAKED PUMPKIN SPICE DONUT HOLES that are on Theresa's blog: The Craving Chronicles... The "donuts" are to die for !!! OH so YUMMY....
You might want to double the batch. {I got approx. 30 mini "muffins" out of one batch and they were gone quick!}.
And if you don't plan on serving them right away... Theresa is right; they get a little soggy on top. So wait until just before serving to put their sugar coating on.

Yum-yum-YUMMY!!! You had me at pumpkin. I must try these...on a cheat day though. I bet they are not friendly to those who are trying to loose weight but I may have to make an exception!

Oh, my! Thank you for posting this recipe. We went to the pumpkin patch today, and my husband was disappointed we couldn't indulge in a pumpkin doughnut. Being a celiac family, and having a 4 yr old , makes dealing with gluten an inconvenience at best. Will make a batch of these with glutenfree alterations tomorrow after church as a surprise for them!
