I wanted to share a book with you today. I just received it this week and I'm loving it!
Have you heard of it? Do you have it? There are 20 irresistible Scrappy Projects in this book! Some super great tips for sewing with your scraps. AND how to organize them too.
Joan organizes her scraps just a little bit different than I do. I'm seriously thinking of giving it a try. She offers step-by-step instructions for cutting your scrap fabric stash down to size and ready to quilt! mmmm. Definitely something to think about.
The quilt on the front cover of the book is what sold me right off. It's totally going in my inspiration file and on my "To Sew" list.
Two other quilts going on my "To Sew" list are the Something Fishy quilt and Bloomin Steps. I really love the scrappiness of both these...

Hi! It was so nice to come up on your blog, wonder how I ever missed it?? Everything you do speaks to me in some way. Love your style. I'm still trying to figure out mine. Got my studio all cleaned up, scraps bagged and binned, now my next step is to begin to cut them into useable pieces, and I found you! Can't wait to get started. Gotta get organized - so many things I want to do, and just added another passion to the mix (singing with THE big choir, you know the one, I believe too.) Thanks for all you do.
