And although I really don't have a pile of them {like all in one place} I'm sure if I did... it would be from floor to ceiling... Goodness.... LOL
This quilt is suppose to be my Scrappy 2010 Quilt!
You can read about my yearly Scrappy Quilts... HERE....
BUT.... I'm getting closer to the finish line on this top! And I'm so excited... {and relieved}...
Here are some blocks I have been working on...

I like to do some themed blocks here and there.... Like this 'patriotic' block...

And my Cherry block....

And the Easter block...

I'm undecided when I'm going to stop... As in... How big I'll make this... ???

But if I decide to throw in the towel at a twin size... I'm almost there!

It is a beauty! Love how colorful it is. I never thought about a yearly scrappy quilt, but love the idea! Have a happy day!
Oh my goodness this quilt is amazing! I have been saving selvedges myself but don't have near enough to make something as awesome as this!
Gasp! It's stunning. I think you should keep going.
Today I'm hoping to get back to sewing something for the first time in almost two months.
Wow! I really love this! nothing goes to waste!

I love this quilt! It would be so fun to snuggle under and read all the cute things on it.
This is so amazing!! I've been saving my selvedges so I can someday make one too :)
is it getting really heavy? That's something I've noticed sewing with selvedges, they get so thick & heavy! It's gorgeous, but if you go much bigger I bet it will be a monster to quilt!
I love this quilt! I will be starting a selvage quilt soon myself. Really like them! ct
Awesome! I save selvedges, but my blocks are on a smaller scale as I make them in to pincushions.
I love this quilt! I'm saving my selvages as well in hopes of making one of these some day. Thank you for sharing.
What a cute and unique idea! I need to keep saving up my selvages to do something like this. Great job and have fun quilting it!

Jodi... that quilt is amazing... I love it!
Wow that looks stunning! What a great use for selvedges. I have a small collection that is slowly growing =D
OMG and I have just been using them to tie up my tomatoes! that is a beautiful quilt!
I love it! I want to make one myself now! Any ideas about how you will quilt it?
That is really beautiful.
I'm in love with your quilt! I also save selvedges for quilting. I am saving your photos to look at as inspiration. Love your blocks! Cherry is my favorite.
That is just too stinkin cute, congrats!!!
Awesome! I have a friend who recently started quilting and she keeps telling me that she loves the selvages. Tomorrow she is coming over to sew and I will have to show her this!
That is so beautiful, and all from selvages.
This is a beautiful, fun quilt! Thanks for showing. As a newbee, I hope to one day have enough selvages to do this. Like you, I'm working on several quilts: A string quilt in pinks, a Kaffe Fassett quilt in amazing colors, and a floral quilt. Ok, one more: a Jellyroll quilt in batiks.
Gorgeous ... I must start saving my selvages!!!
I love this quilt. Did you paper piece it?
I've been saving my salvages and I would love to make a quilt with them. However I still need more. Guess that means more shopping. hehe. Your quilt is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
I have bags of selvages, and keep thinking I will do something with them. I like your idea!
Girl, I swear you are the energizer bunny w/all that you get accomplished. I do not know how you can have anything UFO...sheesh.
Love that idea!!! How exactly are you cutting/piecing all of the pieces?? I think I'm going to start keeping all of my little scraps now!
Dumb question (maybe). Is the top made from selvages heavier than a regular cotton fabric top? Perhaps a bit more "stiff"? Inquiring mind here wants to know.
LOL
I love this idea for using up saved selvedges. Your quilt is going to be beautiful. I can't wait to see it when it is all finished!

What a great use of selvedges/scraps! I love the idea of the "theme" blocks.
I don't know how I missed this when you first posted it Jodi, but it is AMAZING! I came over from a link from Natalia at Piece N Quilt! WOW!
