Scrappy 2011

And so stinkin excited to have a finish !

A uber fantastic blog reader left a comment on my last post about this quilt top and told me about a very talented long arm quilter; Lynn... who quilts for a very reasonable price...

And as you can see she does a great job!

I'm almost finished with my Scrap Jar Star quilt top, and plan on sending it off to Lynn soon!

If you're interested in having Lynn quilt one of your quilts, here is her email address:

K.... Now.... on to the next project!!!

Happy Sewing !!!

Yeah on a finish. It always feels so good to get a UFO finished. I have my oldest UFO to finish, only needs to be quilted...its even pinned already. Your quilt is wonderful and very summery

Scrappy quilts tend to be the happiest looking quilts, I think. Yours is no exception. "Happy, happy, happy", to quote a famous duck guy.

So happy for you to have a complete finish! There's no feeling like it. I sure hope to have a quilt finish for myself by the end of next weekend - have to finish quilting it, square it up, and then add binding. That's a goal, isn't it? Your quilt is really pretty.

Very nice. Wish just once I could finish something like that. How is the little one doing? Do you have more than one now grandchildren I mean. So much fun they are. Linda gerig. Miss your tutorials you used to have and etsy store.

Beautiful quilt! Can you tell me what color of gray the walls are in that bedroom? And where did you get those cool quilted white pillows? Love your blog! Your projects are cheerful to look at, and I'm inspired to get busy on my own.
