Strawberry Pincushion

One day many moons ago, I got a wonderful little surprise package in the mail. It was from one of my "blogging friends"...  It was this pincushion -

Favorite Pincushion

I LOVE this pincushion. LOVE it... It's just the right size.  It's filled with crushed walnut shells, so not only does it keep my pins sharp, but it stays put...

I've used it so much that the bottom is starting to wear a little thin.  So I decided to email my old blogging friend and see if she remembered the pattern?

She did!  I was so excited and went right to work making my own "strawberry" Pincushion!

Strawberry Pincushion

Isn't this the cutest thing!  It's a pattern by Margot Languedoc of The Pattern Basket fame... My blogging friend sent THIS link to me, which has the instructions...

Strawberry Pincushion

Super EASY and so fun to make!

Sewing up this fun little pincushion got me to craving a bowl full of these!

Oh, so sweet! {The berries AND the pincushions.} You just can't have too many pincushions, or too much red!

Hi Jodi! I followed your link at Gumbo Lily. Love the pincushion, I kind of collect them. Not on purpose, it's just that one loves something the somethings tend to multiply around here. I definitely need a strawberry something!

It was very nice to meet you and I can't get your most happy smile out of my head. Hope you are enjoying a little break from market and that you will be back to it tomorrow.
