The Market Tote from Pleasant Home

The Pattern is FINALLY done!  And it's available in PDF {paper pattern coming in August} in my Craftsy Pattern Shop and my Etsy Shop.

This is the infamous Tote that I made for Quilt Market... I made mine with Selvages..

The Market Selvage Tote

But the pattern is "charm square" friendly.

The Instructions call for 5" charm squares.... but, if you want to make the Tote using Selvages. Just use my FREE Tutorial over on Craftsy for making 5" Selvage Squares
{or you can use your own method of making a selvage square

Here are two Totes that my friend Sheri and I made using the Boho fabric line and 5" Charm Squares from Urban Chicks for Moda... I love this fabric line!

The Instructions also call for a "new 2 me" product called Soft and Stable... It's from byAnnie's and I LOVE this stuff!

byAnnie's Soft and Stable

It has great lasting stability and body.. It's lightweight...It maintains it's shape... It's easy to sew with ... It's soft!... And it's washer and dryer safe!

I love the difference it makes...Fusible Fleece can also be used in place of the Soft and Stable..

For fun I made one of the Abby's Treasure Box bags with byAnnie's Soft and Stable and WOW!!!  This little bag is one of my all time favorites! I have made DOZENS and DOZENS of them. And the Soft and Stable helps it to hold it's shape and it's so much cuter.  :)

{the Abby's Treasure Box pattern is from Sherri Falls of This and That Patterns}

Let me know if you'd like me to carry the Abby Treasure Box pattern in my Etsy Shop...
Just leave a comment on this post.  If there's enough interest...I'll get some in for ya!

Phew.... It took me a while to get this pattern done. Summer has been busy for our house this year. And I've found myself outside a bit too!  The sun finally made a summer time appearance for us!  Yay!

K... Off to sew!  What are you doing this summer?
Happy Sewing !!! ooxx`jodi

looks great and very useful.. I have been busy helping with the flooding that has affected so many in our area 2.5 weeks ago. The clean up and devastation still linger. we have a town still under water! I have made 4 quilt tops in the last couple of weeks that will be donated to flood victims. If any of your readers want to donate quilts, contact me. we have a freight company that will bring them from Houston. Time to go cut the grass!

Congratualtions on finishing your pattern. Your selvage bag looks fantastic. I must start saving selvages! I love the treasure box too. I would order it if you had it in your shop but probably not until next month. I bought quite a lot in June so have to take it easy this month. :)

Love the selvage purse. Very pretty. I don't think I'd have enough to make one though. Would you sell some in your etsy site?

I can't wait for your pattern to be released. This tote will be so useful for many tasks... Including the Quilt Expo, Sewing Expo, day trips, etc. I would also be interested in the other pattern you featured. Thanks!
