Bursting Blueberry Muffins

I thought it was time to share my favorite Blueberry Muffin Recipe!

The first time I made them... the husband and I were up on the mountain spending a weekend in Sid.

Now they've become a regular on our "home away from home" menu... and a awesome Sunday breakfast too!

I found them HERE {}  She found them HERE []

I pinned the recipe from JamHands and haven't changed a thing.

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon for topping
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries {I've only used fresh}

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Put paper lining cups in muffin tins.
[the recipe say's it makes 12 muffins... I get 18-20]

In a medium mixing bowl, cream together butter and 1 cup sugar.  Add eggs and mix well. Stir in milk.

Combine dry ingredients {everything but the berries} in another bowl then add this into the creamed mixture.  Mix to combine.  Gently fold in blueberries.

Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.  Sprinkle tops with the 1 tablespoon of sugar. Bake for about 20 minutes. {or until lightly browned}.

I could have used that recipe yesterday. Mine came out beautifully, but I think your recipe
might be a bit better than the one I had. I will try it next time. They look delicious.
