Quilted Knapsack - a NEW Pattern !!!

I'm so in love with my newest pattern!  {and totally in love with Bonnie and Camille's new line of fabric Scrumptious!}

Quilted Knapsack

I designed this pattern while we were in Sisters at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show...

I have this little knapsack that I bought probably 15 years ago... I take it with me on every vacation we go on... I just love the size and the convenience of having my arms and hands free... {especially while I'm shopping for fabric...LOL}

Quilted Knapsack

It's the perfect size {12"W x 14"L} to throw my wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few other things in... Great for adults!  But it's also a great size for kids too!

And one of the best parts?  It's made using 1 Moda Candy!  Such a great inexpensive way to be able to use all the fabrics in one line...

The PDF version of the pattern is now available in my Etsy Shop and Craftsy Pattern Store... The Paper version will be available by the end of the week! {along with a few of my other patterns}

I made 17 knapsacks this summer for girls camp. This pattern would have been better than the one I made up. I am sorry I missed this pattern.

Very pretty, and it looks simple enough for a sometime sewer like me :) I love projects that use precuts...instead of just hoarding them!

I have repaired my faux leather backpack purse so many times over the last 10-12 years. But dang it is the perfect shopping purse. Hands-free is the best for shopping for fabric and thrifting!

Must get this pattern sooooooooooooon.

I saw this pattern sewn up in scrumptious fabric and it captured my attention. My daughter saw it too and asked for me to make it for her for girls camp. It turned out darling! I made another one for the next daughter. I still see plans on making a few more. Thanks for a great pattern!
