Vintage Lehi Utah Turkey Flour Sack Apron

While posting on Instagram there is a phrase you'll see often... "Latergram" ...meaning, I'm posting now, but the picture and/or event took place before now.... I suppose I will label this post, "Laterblog".  LOL

Yeah... I use to be so much more on top of things...

My friend Sheri gave me some fantastic flour sacks a year or two ago, and at the time I was in the apron making mode.

So I decided to make Sheri an apron with one of the flour sacks!  Way fun!

The Thanksgiving fabric was purchased at JoAnn's a long time ago and was sitting in my stash...

I totally love the graphics on these sacks...

The apron was super simple and fun to do! No pattern... Just sewed a bit of the back of the sack onto the sides of the apron front, added a ruffle and waistband/tie, and the result was a super cute, fun, vintagey apron to use at Thanksgiving!

I'm thinking I might frame one of the flour sacks to hang in my kitchen next year during November.... Would be very fun, no?

P.S. I have 3 of these 'turkey' flour sacks for SALE in my Etsy Shop.... :) HERE...

I couldn't find the turkey feed sacks in your etsy shop. Are they sold?

Your apron is very cute. I have some old bran bags I planned to do the same for.
I have an unrelated question for you though. Several months back you blogged about Lori Holts barn along and how you made your version of it. I cannot get that quilt out of my mind, and wondered if you had done ant more to it?
