Snowball Fight Tablerunner

Where is January going?  Besides gone! Like in the blink of an eye!

I am so far behind in blog posts... it's not even funny.... {sigh}

But on a happier note!  Look at my way fun Snowball Fight Tablerunner!  I completely love this runner and it was the perfect thing to spruce up the dining room after Christmas.

Mittens Table Topper

The pattern is in Lori Holt's book "Quilty Fun" and it is super quilty fun to make! Lori used gray for her background and the pattern has a flying geese border. I didn't have any gray, and I didn't have enough of the aqua to make the flying geese.  But I LOVE the aqua and I LOVE the scrappy border I put on mine.

 I had a ton of fun using some of the decorative stitches on my machine to quilt the mittens too.

It was the perfect size for my table too.

It's backed in white and has one of my uber cute labels sewn into the binding.  I blogged about these labels HERE....   And you can get Lori's book from the Fat Quarter Shop HERE...

Such a sweet table runner! I'm loving that Quilty Fun book, too, and now this project is moving to the top of my must-make list from the book. Your version's details are just charming!

I have that book too, got it for a birthday present. I've been trying to decide which pattern to try first, I think you have made up my mind!! Very pretty.

Looks great! I love your idea for quilting the mittens. I never know how to use those stitches. I also have Lori's book and the hard part is figuring out which project I want to make first! Thanks for the great inspiration.
