Quilts for Gifts Part 3

This quilt was started at the Quilt Bliss Retreat I attended last January in Utah! I bought the fabric at Portland Quilt Market in Spring 2013. It's from the cute girls of ADORNit!

The pattern is Flower Box from Vanessa of V and Co. ... I LOVE this pattern.

I knew when I bought this fabric that it would eventually become a quilt for my Daughter-in-Law.... (she's kinda crazy for Owls)...

Denae Hansen of Plain Jane Quilting did the quilting and it's perfect for this quilt! She did an awesome job.  The pattern is called 'Feather'...

I had so much fun sewing up this quilt last year... And I'm so happy to know that more of my family will have quilts from me...

I'm having fun right now picking patterns for this year's Quilts for Gifts!  Just wish I could share with you! It's so hard for me to keep a secret...

Happy Sewing!!! ooxx`jodi

it is so nice to see this quilt done up in a bold colourway--- I think it enhances the details! I love this pattern too but haven't started it yet... I think after seeing this I want to go bold!
